The secret to a successful three-layered shake lies in its thick and creamy texture. That is why fats such as coconut oil, coconut butter and chia seeds are added. It is also the reason why fruits such as banana, avocado and mango should be chosen, as they create a thick texture. It is important to use frozen fruits and to create the layers right after mixing the ingredients.
DIRECTIONS
Mix all the ingredients of the purple layer in a blender for one minute at high speed until you get a thick texture. Pour an equal amount into three tall glasses and freeze for 10 minutes.
Repeat the process for the green layer. Pour it over the purple layer and return the glasses to the freezer for a few more minutes.
Repeat the process for the pink layer. Pour it over the green layer.
It is recommended to added toppings such as cacao flakes, goji berries, spirulina flakes, coconut flakes and/or chopped fruit.
Purple
- 1 cup coconut milk
